As part of the continuing effort to provide BCFPA members with “best in market” programs and services, the Board of Directors has engaged GroupHEALTH Vancouver Pacific™ and GroupHEALTH Global Partners™ to establish and maintain a group benefits plan.

The Board reached the decision to choose the GroupHEALTH team over other shortlisted providers based on a combination of price and value that was significantly superior to its competitors. The evaluation process included formal price and service proposals based on an actual BCFPA member’s group plan and current employees. At significantly lower cost, GroupHEALTH delivered a benefit plan that grandfathered all current coverage and included several benefit enhancements that were viewed by the Board as real added value for both the BCFPA member and their employees.
