Terra Breads is a Vancouver owned and operated, award-winning Bakery/Café. Our dedicated team, many long-term, produce and sell artisan baking and fresh café products through our four busy Bakery/Cafes in Vancouver, and in grocery and specialty food stores, top restaurants and hotels.

WHAT THE JOB IS:
Mixing, shaping and baking of bread products at our production facility at 35 West 5th Avenue, Vancouver. Specifically:
Prepares and follows bread production recipes, techniques and preparation procedures accurately to consistently produce top quality work which meets Terra Breads standards.
Practices SQF HACCP, Food Safe and Work Safe policies and procedures.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are physically able to:
stand and performing baking tasks for up to 5 hours at a time.
to lift and stack 20 kg flour bags up to a height of 180 cm.
to lift 15 kg tubs of dough to a height of 160 cm.
to maneuver 200 kg rolling racks of dough
You have at least 1 year of experience working in a baking environment or you are a graduate of a certified baking program; and you are familiar with all bakery equipment. You work in an efficient and organized manner, with minimal supervision. You like working in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills. Foodsafe certification is a plus.
