Marketing Director

As Director of Marketing at Organika, you will utilize a combination of creativity, analytics, and market insight to establish the Organika brand as a trusted leader in the Canadian market.  Your focus will be on building out a world class experience for health enthusiasts while ensuring the marketing team has the tools and support to deliver with excellence.

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Lead a highly engaged team of marketing professionals by facilitating career growth and professional development, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Align cross-functional teams, industry stakeholders, and end consumers with various programs and initiatives
  • Develop and deliver on a fully integrated marketing plan and brand strategy that aligns with the Organika vision and mission
  • Lead Organika’s market research initiative to continually improve its customer and competitive insights; customer personas, brand positioning, target audience and value propositions
  • Continue to push the creative boundaries of the Organika customer journey to reach, captivate and engage our audience of passionate health enthusiasts
  • Direct the content and inbound marketing strategy with the goal of growing our audience (prospects, visitors and leads)
  • Integrate and leverage marketing initiatives to fully support activities and programs implemented by the sales and marketing teams.
  • Provide direction for multi-faceted and integrated campaigns via social, digital, community, events and PR
  • Providing strategic guidance for identifying and engaging with media and influencers
  • Ensure Organika’s brand message and positioning is consistent throughout our customer journey
  • Provide industry leading representation when needed at events and speaking engagements
  • Share insights, outcomes and provide motivation and inspiration to Design and Marketing teams
  • Ensure marketing budget and spend is allocated and accounted for appropriately
  • Actively contribute to organizational culture and exemplifies all core values of Organika


  • 7+ years of CPG and national marketing experience
  • Proven experience in:
    • leveraging customers insights to help manage, inform and/or support key initiatives across various go-to-market teams
    • deliver compelling marketing content across all platforms (text, design, video, etc.) and media (blog, guides, whitepapers, research, infographics, podcasts, etc.) to increase both awareness and customer acquisition
    • overseeing a high performing team of both creative and analytical marketers
  • Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to define, pursue and prioritize various high impact business objectives
  • Ambitious, proactive, and results-oriented team player
