Summary: The Seamer & Inspector efficiently operates the Stanford Seamer and Stanford Inspector machines in order to meet production requirements and produce high quality products. The Seamer & Inspector seams shrink film, verifies the quality of the seam, and finishes the rolls to the customer’s required specifications.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the seamer and inspector machines during continuous production
  • Maintains product quality that meets the company’s and customer’s standards
  • Sets up the machine in a timely fashion
  • Follows the production schedule for jobs, completes production based on shift averages and documents production results
  • Keeps work area clean and organized and ensures spare parts, tools, test equipment and documents are properly stored and maintained
  • Follows all safety and food-safe procedures and complies with company policies
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of our operations

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in teams

  • Knowledge of how to properly maintain equipment
  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with detailed objects
