14th Annual NHP Research Conference
Dear NHPRS members, sponsors and past sponsors,
The NHPRS Board of Directors is pleased to host our 14th Annual NHPRS Annual Conference, Beyond Tradition, to be held May 8-11, 2017, at the Pinnacle Hotel Waterfront in Vancouver, British Columbia. This conference promises to bring together and integrate individuals from all aspects of the natural health product (NHP) industry, including research scientists; industry representatives involved in developing, producing, and marketing NHPs; government regulators tasked with regulating NHPs for sale in Canada; and medical and naturopathic doctors discussing these health products with patients.
With over 250 expected participants, the conference will provide a great opportunity to learn from leaders in the Natural Health Products sector, as they discuss key regulatory and quality assurance updates, as well as next innovations in NHP research.

The NHPRS Conference Programming Committee is pleased to announce the 2017 Conference Program! Our 4-day event will host leading researchers, regulators, and members of the North American health products industry, presenting current topics in key NHP fields. We are pleased to host focused sessions on Botanical Authentication; Regulatory and Government Affairs; Personalized Nutrition; Industrial Innovations and Emerging Technologies; Ethnobotany, Pharmacology & Traditional Medicine; Modernization of Pharmacopoeial Standards; Gut Health and the Intestinal Microbiome; and Cannabis.

NHPRS is pleased to host a pre-conference workshop, Frontiers in NHP Research, on Monday, May 8 from 12:30 – 3:30 pm at the Pinnacle Waterfront Hotel.

One-to-One Partnering is part of our Conference Program again this year!
The One-to-One Partnering Program is a dedicated part of the NHPRS 2017 conference program. Delegates who sign up for partnering have the opportunity to set up 20-minute pre-scheduled and ad-hoc meetings with other delegates to engage in discussions that can move opportunities forward. Partnering is an excellent complement to your informal networking opportunities, and access to the Partnering Program is included in your full-conference registration!

Get Social at the NHP Research Conference Brewery and Distillery Tour!
Join us on Tuesday May 9th at 6:30 pm for the 2017 NHPRS Social Event! Canadian Craft Tours will pick you up from the Pinnacle Harbourfront Hotel…from there, we will head out for a night on the town! The NHPRS tour will visit 2 craft breweries and a craft distillery, where you'll get behind the scenes tours to learn how both craft beer and craft spirits are made, as well some great sampling at each venue! This event is a must attend if you have even the slightest interest in craft beer or spirits!
