Announcing! BC Food and Beverage Awards Gala Dinner Menu 2019

The BC Food & Beverage Awards Gala will be hosted on September 17th, 2019 at the Sheraton Wall Centre, North Tower, Vancouver. 

The BCFPA and the innovative Chefs at the Westin Bayshore Hotel are proud to announce the BC Food and Beverage Awards Gala Dinner menu, carefully crafted with unique and locally-sourced products supplied by our wonderful Members.  We encourage you to try this new menu exclusively designed for this event that will surely impress guests. Explore new twists on traditional cocktails, delectable vegan options, and new products inspired by diverse cultures as we announce the winners of the 2019 BC Food and Beverage Awards! 

COCKTAIL RECEPTION & CANAPES

For our 4:30 PM cocktail reception, guests can enjoy six appetizers, including a Signature Cocktail featuring Central City Distillers Sparrow Rum and Culture Kefir Co. Activated Charcoal Infused Water Kefir.

Canapes include: Western Sage Maple Honey glazed “pig wings”, Triple Smoke Foods - Butchers Blend beef striploin skewers, Nanak Foods Masala pops, Dahi kebabs and Spinach Roll, and Culture Kefir Co Mango Ginger Crab Rolls.  The Gala's 3-course dinner offers 2 options for our appetizer salads, main entrees, and dessert.

Golden Beet Salad Golden Ears Cheese Crafters Neufchatel, baby frisee, orange, tomato, watermelon radish, toasted pumpkin seeds, Little Creek Cherry Balsamic dressing

(Vegan) Golden Beet Salad Daiya cream cheeze style spread, baby frisee, orange, tomato, watermelon radish, toasted pumpkin seeds, Little Creek Cherry Balsamic dressing

               

 

MAIN

7Seas Salmon, Hunter Browns brown buttered asparagus, Farafena fonio pilaf, roasted carrots with Honey Bee Centre wildflower honey, Infusion Ginger Soy Sauce beurre blanc

Farafena fonio and grilled kale pilaf, tomato fondue, roasted Barnston Island vegetables (vegan)

    

DESSERT

New York Cheesecake, All the Best Natural Farm Ltd. Blueberry Burst blueberries with honey
